Another packed show this week folks, kicking off with one of my all time favourites, the full length version of Orbital’s ‘Belfast’, after which we follow the acoustic road past Tracy Chapman singing ‘Happy’ and another track for Lou Rhodes called ‘Melancholy Me’ from her new album ‘One Good Thing’ (well worth checking out), we end the acoustic run of tracks with my good friend’s band, Matthew and The Atlas, and an early track called ‘Hide Under The Sun’. I then went digging in the crates and found some very tasty tracks from Fila Brazillia and Herbaliser, before playing a track from an immense talent in the shape of Mc Xander, the whole track is made up purely from his voice and his unique brand of multi-vocalism (go check him out on myspace). Following on from that we have Tricky and his track ‘Piano’ that just seemed to fit into the last track and that’s what happened. Finishing the show this week is the monster ambient work ‘A Huge Ever Growing Pulsating Brain That Rules From The Centre Of The Ultraworld’ created by The Orb way back in 1989! A true pioneering track I think you’ll agree. Enjoy!

How can I retrieve an older podcast of the 8-16-09 and 9-13-09 Medicine Lounge shows? I wasn’t aware of podcasts from SSRadio but have faithfully been listening to the programming since December on iTunes radio. I enjoy the show. Just want to add these wonderful collections to my iTunes library.
